Amazing breakfast. Loved the chocolate chip pancakes

Food is SO good !Randomly drove past this place yesterday so decided to try out breakfast here today. It was busy but luckily there was a table open as soon as we walked in. This spot has a diner feel but everyone that worked here was very friendly. The server came to the table immediately and grabbed our drink orders. Multiple people came to our table throughout our breakfast checking up on our coffee. The menu had your typical breakfast items, plus a few cool ones like French toast Benedict and country fried steak skillets.I ordered the country fried steak with eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. The country fried steak was very good and the gravy on top had big chunks of sausage. The eggs were cooked perfect and the pancakes were flaky and delicious. I’m very satisfied with all my food. I will definitely be back here again !

First time customer. The service was promt. I sat at the breakfast bar near the food window where I was able to see one amazing plate come out after another. I ordered the spartan skillet that came with a short stack. Its was amazzzzing. So delicious and filling. Even with a full house and a guest wait list, my food came out in timely manner. My coffee was refilled before I ever asked which is extra brownie points. Keep up the good work Rodies. Cant wait to try something new next time!

Both the Tarpon and Safety Harbor locations are fantastic. Hands down the most consistent, delicious, and clean breakfast/lunch joints around. Occasionally I'll get the idea to try a different restaurant for breakfast and I always regret it and wish I had just gone to Rodie's 😆Tables and bathrooms are always clean, the staff is kind and courteous, the food is always on point and delicious!

I've never seen food come out that quick before. Waitress was excellent, even reminded us there was an up-charge on the harvest grain pancakes. Food and coffee were very good. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back

My wife was craving a chicken sandwich it was not in the menu but they happily made one for her and it was amazing! My country fried steak was absolutely AMAZING as well!! And Ms. Laura just wow thank you for making us feel welcomed

Breakfast is the one time where I want my comfort food and I want exactly what I expected. Rodie's hits exactly the right note. The eggs were perfect and fluffy. The bacon was perfectly crispy. All your traditional breakfast favorites at a high standard.

Great little breakfast and lunch place. Nice size portions and quick friendly service. We like the omlettes with hash browns and 2 large pancakes. Plenty of parking, easy to get in and out of. Give them a try and give us a like if you enjoy the food. #AdventureKrewe

Excellent experience all around!!! Wonderful waitress, delicious food (strawberry pancakes were especially delectable...and huge!), lightning-quick service, and cozy atmosphere. We tried them on a whim, and got VERY lucky! We'd return in a heartbeat.

I loved it! The food is good atmosphere was great nice friendly little town feel. My drinks were always refilled without request. I just loved it I’ll definitely be back!

This is a local Family owned restaurant. Great fresh quality food. Good diversified menu for various diet & culinary needs. VERY clean & nice decor. GREAT friendly service. They have good food here, the banana walnut pancakes are my go to breakfast and the veggie wrap is good for lunch.

Went in ,no reservation before golf was greeted, seated and served with in 2 minutes. Food was great as usual, l have been coming here for years, they used to be across street, lot smaller. Historic eatery, the best in Tarpon.

The restaurant is in a nice location and decor is nice and bright. The menu looks expansive. I ordered strawberry crepe. There were 2 crepes on the plate. First of all, the crepes were cold. It appeared they were pre-cooked. Second, the bits and pieces of strawberry were swimming in a pool of red sauce, the kind of sauce that you would find in jar of a grocery store. No taste, just corn syrup and food coloring. Third, there was no whipped cream and no powered sugar. I had 2 bites and couldn't eat them. Server NEVER bothered to ask how was everything, because if she did, I would have returned it. I could have raised this with her too but I didn't, because I knew I would never return to this place.

Hearty portion for the price. Food was tasty. Biscuit was a bit on the floury side. Lots of options. Would return for sure.

Very good breakfast. Extremely clean restaurant. Fast, efficient, excellent service. Multi coffee refills, never had to ask for anything except a box for our leftovers. We had enough breakfast for another day for both my husband and myself.

We have been going to Rodies sometimes twice a week. Always love it here. My sister who is down syndrome doesn't want to go ANYWHERE else (unless it's the dollar store😂).I bring everyone who visits us here and they are thoroughly thrilled about the place. The food is absolutely wonderful as is the wonderful people who work there...a special heads up ❣ goes out to Laura. There is another waitress that went so far out of her way for my sister. Bess wanted avocado in the worst way and unfortunately they did not have any. This wonderful woman went into her own lunch and brought it to her. Bess was thrilled so much!I just cannot say enough about this place.❣❤🤗

OMG this place is the best. Went to Rodies the other day w/my husband, it was packed, very fast paced. Watching the servers, u could tell they were very energetic & efficient. Hostess lacks the same enthusiasm! Although our server Theresa was busy she still found time to make us laugh!! Makes a gr8 meal & a gr8 meal it was..croissant Benny delicious!!! Coffee was hot & fresh, we'll be back to see her again soon & try something else on the menu. So much to choose from...they have everything. A must go to place

I have been here a few times with my mom and granddaughter. The food is very very good, the service is wonderful and the prices are decent. My mom loves that they have skillets because nobody has them on the menu anymore. The portions of food are generous and presented very appealing. I really love this place.

I come here every time I visit my parents in Tarpon Springs and it's always great. The food is fresh, tasty, and portions are more than enough. I haven't eaten the same thing twice and everything has been amazing.

The Southern Benedict will keep you full until dinner. Soft, pillowy biscuits, perfectly poached eggs, all smothered in sausage gravy -- why bother with pancakes when you can have this?

I ordered the Monte Cristo uber eats. Which was excellent. But the cole slaw had a huge thick black hair that was closed into the container.

Great food here!!!! The pancakes are absolutely fantastic!!! Omlette dishes are good along with other great breakfast favorites. There are usually plenty of parking spaces and seating here. The service is very good as well. I recommend giving it a try!

Good classic diner food. Daily specials. Do not order the grits, tasteless undercooked with no seasoning. We are in the south, learn to cook good grits please. Servers are attentive and pleasant.

I love this place. It is our go to breakfast place in town. We are always sat right away and the servers are fast. My coffee is never empty. Food is plentiful, hot, and quick. There is a lot of care and warmth in this local breakfast place.

My favorite breakfast place. We try to come here at least every other Sunday. They’re always busy, but have always seated us quickly. Service is prompt. Everything I have ordered has been delicious. They have a huge variety of breakfast and lunch selections, so you can always try something new each time you come. My only ’complaint’ is they don’t have iced coffee (my favorite) only hot, hoping they’ll add this soon to their menu**, but not a huge deal!

Good food. Good service. They were incredibly busy but turned tables with precision.

Breakfast looked better than it tasted. Overloaded cinnamon on the pancakes, which was a pumpkin pancake didn't look or taste pumpkin-y at all (maybe the overloaded cinnamon?), eggs seemed like they were powdered or something, and that cheese on them you see in the pic cost a dollar extra. Prices online don't reflect actual prices, and extras are definitely overpriced. Oh, and the coffee was so light and weak I could see through it when getting a refill. Service was so-so. Christmas decorations were cute, though, so there is that.

Ordered a to go order to pick up on my way to work. I arrived and they let me know that 2 men picked up my order.... I didn’t have time to wait due to having to go to work. And they didn’t do anything to make it right.

Visiting from Toronto. Had breakfast here two days in a row. Amazing food. Friendly service. Highly recommend.
